Biography
Paul leads a diverse practice focusing on contentious tax matters and banking litigation.
Paul acts in a broad array of tax disputes. He has appeared at the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Appeal and all levels of court in Manitoba. Complementing Paul’s tax practice is his work with banks, credit unions, and other major lenders in enforcement proceedings, foreclosures and creditors’ rights litigation.
He also practises in the domain of privacy law. He advises businesses in a range of industries on data management and privacy regulatory concerns, including data breaches and compliance with anti-spam legislation.
Paul holds significant leadership roles in the legal profession in Manitoba. He is a governor of the Canadian Tax Foundation and currently serves as an elected bencher of the Law Society of Manitoba.
