Biography

Mario is an articling student-at-law with an expected Call to Bar of June 2025. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Manitoba in 2024.

During his tenure at law school, Mario was heavily involved in the Robson Hall community. He assumed numerous leadership roles, notably as Co-Chair of the Academic Committee, a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee, and the student representative for the Academic Affairs Committee. He also fulfilled the responsibilities of Chief Returning Officer in his second year and Junior Editor for the Canadian Journal of Human Rights in his first year. Beyond his academic involvement, Mario gained valuable experience advising start-ups and not-for-profits with the L. Kerry Vickar Business Law Clinic.

Prior to his time at Robson Hall, Mario completed his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with a double major in Marketing and Supply Chain Management & Logistics at the Asper School of Business. He also participated in the co-op program, enriching his proficiency in practical business operations.

Mario is regularly involved in the Coptic community and volunteers for St. Mark's Coptic Orthodox Church throughout the year.

Mario is fluent in English and Arabic (Egyptian dialect; Spoken).
