Biography
Jenna is an associate practising in civil litigation and employment law.
She focuses primarily on insurance law, defending a broad range of insured parties on claims related to product liability, general property and casualty insurance and municipal liability.
Complementing Jenna’s civil litigation practice is her labour and employment practice. She advises employers and employees regarding a variety of workplace disputes, including wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints, Canada Labour Code adjudications, workplace health and safety matters and labour law matters, including collective bargaining and certification.
Jenna has appeared before all levels of court in Manitoba and has also appeared before the Manitoba Labour Board, the Appeal Commission of the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba and various other tribunals.
Jenna acts as an independent counsel to victims of sexual assault through Manitoba Justice Victim Services. In this role, she has gained considerable advocacy experience before the Provincial Court and the Court of King's Bench of Manitoba.
