Biography
Dean is a partner in the firm’s litigation practice.
His work is primarily in the area of complex commercial litigation and insurance litigation, including professional errors and omissions, commercial liability claims, subrogation and coverage analysis. Dean’s clients include national and international insurance companies, along with various professional associations and governing bodies.
He also practises in the area of intellectual property law, with experience in trademark, patent and copyright disputes. He has appeared before every level of court in Manitoba, the Federal Court and a variety of administrative tribunals.
Dean has served as an instructor in the Manitoba bar admissions course and at the University of Manitoba’s Faculty of Law.
