Benchmark Litigation recognizes Bernice Bowley as one of the Top 50 Women in Litigation in Canada for 2020

Benchmark Litigation has again recognized Bernice Bowley, a partner and the chair of Fillmore Riley’s Litigation department, as one of the Top 50 Women in Litigation in Canada. For the fourth consecutive year, Bernice is the only lawyer from Manitoba who has been recognized in the publication.

Benchmark Litigation’s extensive research process involves months of investigation into individual litigators’ professional activities as well as client feedback surveys and one-on-one interviews, and has culminated in the selection of the most distinguished women in the world of litigation. “These women have earned their place amongst the leading female litigators by participating in some of the most impactful litigation matters in recent history as well as by earning the hard-won respect of their peers and clients,” said Benchmark Litigation’s editor Michael Rafalowich.

Bernice is a partner of Fillmore Riley LLP and maintains a comprehensive commercial insurance litigation practice including general insurance defence, professional errors and omissions, product liability, construction, subrogation and coverage. She also practises in the areas of municipal liability, administrative law, and employment law.
