Aron Grusko recognized as one of the 2024 Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers Under 40

We congratulate Aron Grusko for being recognized as one of the 2024 Lexpert Rising Stars. This award honours exceptional young lawyers who have made outstanding contributions in their legal careers.

Recipients were selected by an independent advisory panel composed of esteemed leaders and experts within the legal profession.

Aron specializes in tax law with an emphasis on tax planning and business structuring. His corporate tax practice includes the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, business structuring, and corporate reorganizations, and his personal tax planning practice includes business succession and estate planning. Aron also practises in the area of tax disputes and tax litigation.

Aron is the co-chair of the firm's Health Care group, and he has made a name for himself as the lawyer healthcare professionals rely on at every stage of their careers, from advising on incorporation to succession planning. He also holds numerous other leadership roles within Fillmore Riley, including as the partner responsible for the firm's Corporate Services department, a mentor within the firm's Taxation practice, and a member of several of the firm's internal committees.

Along with his leadership at the firm, Aron has an outstanding track record of volunteerism and community leadership, and is the recipient of the Manitoba Bar Association's 2023 Community Involvement Award.

He currently sits on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg, which is the primary representative body and fundraising arm for the Winnipeg Jewish Community. Aron previously served as an elected council member of the Manitoba Bar Association, where he currently serves as the vice-chair of its Tax Law section.
